Kerala is a unique place on Earth, where “the science of life” Ayurveda originated, developed and was widely spread. Ayurveda believes true human beauty to be composed of outer, inner and spiritual beauty. By working on these three aspects, anyone can reach a balance of the body healthy condition; hence open his harmonic and wholly personality as it is originally supposed to be.

Some of the treatments offered at Ayurvedic Hospitals with Resort Amenities are as follows:

Panchakarma

Panchakarma is an Indian secret of longevity.
Four thousand years ago, long before such notions as detox or rejuvenation emerged, there appeared an effective complete body cleansing system, i.e. Panchakarma, in India. Despite achievements of modern medicine and pharmacology, this coherent method of purification and detoxification of every cell of the body remains relevant to the present day. Many people hear about miraculous results of Panchakarma, but not everyone knows how the treatments work, what stages it includes when the best time for this procedure and how to choose your doctor.

Panchakarma means “five treatments” or “five actions”. The complete process performed to clean the toxic materials of the body left by disease, environmental toxins, drug toxins and poor nutrition. Usually, our body has an integrated ability to process and remove most of the waste materials, including the vitiated doshas as well. However, due to one’s repeated dietary unwariness, poor physical exercise patterns, poor lifestyle, and some genetic tendency, the digestive enzymes, metabolic co-factors, hormones, and agnis which modulate the body’s internal homeostasis become unorganised. This may lead to the accumulate and increase the toxins throughout the physiology. As a result, it manifests as a disease. This excess matter or waste is known as ama in Ayurveda. The Ama is a very foul-smelling, sticky, unfavourable substance that needs to be eliminated from the body.

Panchakarma procedure removes the excess doshas and correct imbalances in them as well as evacuate the harmful ama out of the system through our organs and passage of elimination (sweat glands, colon, lungs, stomach, intestine, urinary tract etc.). Panchakarma purifies the system and the tissues at a very deep level.

The whole course takes from two weeks to a month. It is not necessary to take a vacation to purify your body. The doctor can advise you to split the course into stages or take only several procedures.
